Hrishikesh Ashok Sagar is a highly skilled Graduate Data Science Assistant with a strong background in big data, data science, and deep learning. He is a Computer Science graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi and currently pursuing Master of Science in Computer Science from Arizona State University. With 1.36 years of relevant experience, Hrishikesh has worked as a Data Scientist at Hilabs Inc. and as an Intern at Siemens. At Hilabs, Hrishikesh led the development efforts for a core data analytics tool that processed millions of records every day. He gathered client requirements, added and modified product features, and coordinated development efforts of three Data Scientists to maintain timely releases of software solutions. He also integrated the tool with AI to automatically detect flaws in data and provide actionable insights. Hrishikesh automated the whole framework to bring down the analysis time by 80%. His tech stack experience includes Spark, Hadoop, Solr, Bash, Hive SQL, and Scala. He also created an algorithm that compares demographic information between two datasets and created a mapping between them using Levenstein distance, merging two separate healthcare databases of 2 million patients into one single exhaustive database, used by medical practitioners to track patients’ medical history. Currently, Hrishikesh is working as a Graduate Student Assistant at Arizona State University, leading efforts to maintain a database of health-related data, conduct data analyses, and report aggregate performance among project participants. He provides analytical feedback to individual participants and supports efforts to improve outcomes. Hrishikesh is a problem solver with an open mind approach. He has experience in building scalable applications and leading projects to make releases at speed, from gathering software requirements, validating POCs to converting them into full-fledged software with regular releases and feedback implementations.
